It is used to treat a type of anemia where you have too few red blood cells because you have too little iron in your body (irondeficiency anemia). Iron is needed to produce the red blood cells that carry oxygen around your body. Ricfem Injection is given by slow infusion (drip) into a vein by your doctor or nurse.
